When I first peeled off the plastic film I was concerned how small the portion looked. But once I started eating, I realized the taste and texture were bad, so that I wouldn't be able to finish it anyway. The chicken pieces are really salty, and their texture is the worst part - it's mealy and grainy. The broccoli is better than the chicken. The Alfredo sauce does nothing except moisten the dry chicken. The only good thing I can say about it is that the label says it has 28g protein which is high for frozen meals. I will not buy this again.

As Good as Frozen Gets
Threw the sauce in the trash. Recycled all the plastic. Steamed on stovetop with a little water in 7 minutes. Chicken was tender, not fatty or gritty. Broccoli was perfect/crunchy, not mushy. Very little sugar, salt level was manageable after tossing out the sauce packet. No chemicals/additives/preservatives in ingredient list. I put this on a bed of brown/wild rice with fresh lemon and black pepper. For frozen, this is as good as it gets.

I enjoy eating this variety all the time it has 28 g of protein and 4 g of fiber.It is easy to microwave get nourishment when I am busy.It is made with natural chicken and US inspected.

I'm glad the reviews match my POV. I love this meal. So low cal and still delicious. I've seen reviews showing that the sauce and meal overall is very bland. However, I disagree. I think this meal is perfectly balanced and I genuinely enjoyed the flavor. For more spice or flavor the brand has plenty of other options. This is just a great simple yet appetizing meal.

How to Bake Instead of Microwave
I eat high protein and low carb. I don't microwave. At all. I saw/purchased and I decided to experiment. I thawed the package contents on the counter. I used a small oven-safe open casserole (like the kind restaurants use for scallops or fish), coated it with olive oil spray and mixed the chicken, broccoli and sauce together in it. I added an ounce+ of shredded sharp cheddar and parmesan cheeses on top so that it lightly covered the chicken and broccoli. I preheated the toaster oven to 400 and put the casserole in the oven and baked for about 20-25 minutes until the cheeses were browning. I let it cool for about 8-10 minutes. I served it by putting the casserole on the dinner plate. It was very tasty and I will use this regularly when I heat my husband's lasagna that we get at the local prepared food market.
