He love the shoe shine taste but I don't

It smells like shoe shine, some kind of chemical. I feel like I'm drinking oil from an industrial sewing machine. Not that I know what that taste like. It has a thick liquid feel compare to cheaper alcohol. I buy it only because my husband loves it. It's definitely an acquired taste. Does it get the job done, yes, almost instant feel. Warms you up quickly. It does go down smooth but it's definitely not an amazing taste or smell.
