A true masterpiece

I remember as a child we watched this movie during Holy week. As an adult I continue to respect this interpretation of the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) as they relate to the life of Jesus Christ. What I loved the most is the lack of deviation from the Bible and how the actors brought it all to life. This interpretation is a family favorite and I cry every time I watch it, Robert Powell, gives the best performance in this role as Jesus that I have ever seen. For anyone who still believes this will bring peace and hope to your heart.

I love this movie the actor who portrays Jesus brings me to tears when he speaks. I think he does the best job I have ever seen of any actor portraying Jesus on film. The movie is over 40 years old so the quality of the film is kind of old but the acting is great.
