Gallbladderectomy approved!
Having recent gallbladder removal surgery I was on the hunt for a good Italian sausage replacement and that was chicken. I cannot eat pork anymore I’ve discovered. The flavor of this sausage is better than pork sausage in my opinion. I feel better eating chicken with cleaner ingredients than pork sausage and with the vacuum seal this company uses the sausages stay fresh. I like that they’re already cooked through and I just need to warm them. A quick chop and they go in sauces or just a quick pan fry and they make a great hogi sandwich with all the fixings I am excited to try other flavors!

If you're looking for something different and extra flavorful or juicy, definitely try these. The texture is also different from the other types of smoked sausages. Its a bit softer than others. I do recommend to try it. We usually just eat it with rice and green beans.

My husband and I love thiese cut in half and grilled served on a hoagie roll… but it also makes a beautiful breakfast sausage to cut up and scramble with eggs. or as a side to fried eggs.

I have enjoyed `aidells` before, but this is the last time I will be purchasing. Too many bone fragments, one almost the size of a tooth! I can't risk having to pay for dental work over a pack of chicken sausage!

This was so good! I already like Aidell’s and have tried other products. I saw a recipe with this the other day and so I tried it out. I cut these on a slat and pan cooked them till crispy to add to a protein pasta recipe. Yum!

Something in the sausage…
I have bought and cooked this sausage probably 15 times without any issues - my family loves it. Tonight I bit into something sharp and hard - like a rock. Upon reading reviews, it looks like some people have experienced bone fragments in it but I’m not so sure…seemed like a shell or rock to me.

Good not great.
I love the quality and freshness of Aidell’s sausage, but the flavor of this one missed the mark for me. The actual sausage is meaty and good (no tiny hotdog sized sausages here!), but the spice was too strong.

First timer here!
I just got the Italian style for the first time and I will be buying nothing else except these. I can’t even eat a regular hot dog anymore after trying these. So good. I didn’t find any bone or cartilage fragments in any of my links. It was perfection. I’m only sad that I ran out so fast!

Almost impossible to open the package
I've complained to the manufacturer that the packaging is super difficult to open. The backing will NOT separate in order to free the sausages. And instead of fixing it, they sent me a coupon for a free pack of these sauges. Great - but not what I was trying to tell them. This is seriously THE WORST packaging I've ever encountered. Doesn't matter if they taste good WHEN YOU CAN'T GET TO THEM!

Too Spicy
We have bought the Italian Style Smoked Chicken Sausage many times & it was very good. The recent package was quite spicy, not 'typical' for any Italian dish that we have every eaten. All of the ingredients are well defined but the 'spices' have no listing of details.

Delicious
This is the first time I have tried Aidells. I had the Cajun in the store (sample). It was juicy and delicious. A bit hot but I'm a wimp with spicy. I bkught the Italian and it was also delicious. A bit spicy but I was ok with it.
