  • A: While we haven’t tested using Colby Jack Cheese Snack Portions to make homemade fried cheese sticks, they wouldn’t melt in the same way as mozzarella and would have a different texture and consistency when cooked.     Smoked Black Pepper snack portions

    I tried the Tillamook smoked black pepper cheese snack portions and was a bit disappointed and wasn't a fan of this flavor combination. I think I expected a smoky white cheese, maybe something like smoked gouda, but the cheese itself had little flavor in my opinion, so it was overwhelmed by the black pepper. I like most Tillamook products, and people who like a strong black pepper flavor may really enjoy this, but it wasn't for me.
