Great burger meat and more
Excellent product! So glad I took the other positive reviewers advice and bought this ground bison for some homemade burgers tonight! It’s super lean, doesn’t leave much fat behind when cooking and the flavor is meaty but none of that weird livery fatty taste ground beef can have. I recommend this for tacos, crumbled ground meat recipes and especially a nice flat top cheeseburger. It helps if you don’t over work it, gently press your finger into the meat and make a mini cratered moonscape burger patty and cook until caramelized on the first side and then sear the other side till well browned but still medium to medium rare. Let that patty sit a couple minutes while you toast your bread or buns, add toppings and serve!! I don’t think I’d grill this product because I am not willing to sacrifice juicy perfection for a few grill marks.

Restaurant Recommended Great Range Bison
This is a lot more affordable than I expected! I tried the bison burger at a local restaurant. It was delicious, so I asked for the name of the company. I used to buy organic ground beef, but since being introduced to this brand, I no longer buy beef. -Great Range Bison fan for life

Better than ground chuck & better for the environment! It’s better for your health than beef too.
I was skeptical at first, I worried it would taste like the wild game my hubby tries to feed me from his hunting days. Sorry hun, not a fan of your elk! :-)
This brand of bison Is delicious! I recommend this brand over other bison brands I’ve tried since being introduced. It’s great as burgers and great in any recipe you would use it. I’ve used it in chili, stroganoff, tacos & enchilada, just to name a few! I’ve had their steak too. Yum! It’s not at all like wild game and it’s better for the environment than beef cattle!

Great tasting, responsibly produced
This is the best tasting ground bison I have found. A really great addition to my diet. I highly recommend it. It's the healthiest protein available, both for those eating it, and for the environment. I'm really pleased to have it locally available, and at a very reasonable price.
