Applegate Natural Grass-Fed Uncured Beef Hot Dog - 10oz

I love hotdogs and prefer to eat healthier ones when possible but these taste...strong, gamey, something is just too much for a hotdog taste.

I love the option but they are way to salty. Even boiling them to get the salt out...

Im diabetic and also try my best to eat clean and these dogs by far are the best tasting I've ever had.

I've eaten various brands of hotdogs and honestly they all left me longing for the Hot Dogs I had as a kid. We were having a family BBQ over Memorial Day and after a quick google search I tried Applegate Hot Dogs. My entire family loved them. Couldn't wait to have a second. And with every other brand having more than one made me nauseous. Thank you Applegate for restoring my love of Hot Dogs.

I was actually a little hesitant to try these, but once I opened the package and heated one up, slapped some mustard on it and tasted it... Wow!!! It tastes like it was cooked over a campfire, and I mean that in the best way. Absolutely the best hot dog I've had in a very long time.. and I only heated it up in a microwave oven... Can't wait until I have the time to cook it in a pan to get a little sear on it. Great hot dog...enough said.

While Applegate claims its products are uncured - it's a very misleading claim allowed by the government. The curing comes from the vegetable powder which contain the nitrates. This cures the meat. Same net result. This meat is cured.

I like that these are healthier but my daughter says they taste bad and she doesn’t want to eat them.

I never had such a delicious beef hotdog! I buy these all the time, no more other brands will come close to tasting so clean and real as the beef in this dog! It reminds me of being a kid and enjoying hotdogs at school for lunch all the time. However, as I've gotten older, my taste buds have changed and I don't prefer to have such a processed dog that is not purely beef or filled with ingredients that my body is now allergic too. Thankfully, these wonderful dogs were made! I buy them all the time, as they are my everyday favorite treat for a low carb snack or meal when I need it to be. The ingredient list is so simple to read, not many are inside these hotdogs. I get that pure beef taste and that wonderful memory of being a child and requesting hotdogs for lunch so ofthe. Now it's possible and I don't feel bad about what I'm putting in my body. Instead, I just feel clean inside and out and loving every single bite. I especially like to take these dogs, grill them and wrap them in a slice of smoked provolone cheese or another type and make a delicious KETO style snack. They are just so good and I am always stocking up!

The flavor was really good, but my goodness the saltiness! Those of us who ate these felt awful afterwards. We won't be purchasing them again.
