Q: What an enormous disappointment that they changed the recipe on these. They were the only hot dog my kids would eat and now we don't have this as an option anymore. Change them back please!

I've been eating these organic hot dogs for several years and I think they're delicious. I agree they could do with a little less salt. The reason I took off a star was because the beef isn't raised in the USA but the packaging doesn't say it's imported.

BEST Pretzel Dog!
We all know that conventional hot dogs can be made with questionable ingredients - that's why our family chose Applegate. I decided to make soft pretzel dogs at home and it was SO GOOD! I used a soft bread dough recipe, wrapped a thin layer of bread dough around the raw hot dog, and sprinkled with "everything bagel seasoning". I let them rise for 90 min and then baked in the oven on 350° for 20 minutes. The hot dogs were bursting with flavor and incredibly juicy! Dipped with mustard, ketchup, and Bubbies sweet relish. Burn the roof of your mouth kinda good!

Smoky, saturated flavor, honest ingredients - one of the best hotdogs I've ever eaten. My only complaint is that they disappear too quickly from my fridge :) If boiled first, the saltiness goes away and they are just perfect! Please don't stop making these.

These are the only brand of hot dog my family eats. They are delicious! These hot dogs are also made in a tree nut free facility and are therefore safe for our family member with tree nut allergies.

Terrible Taste
These tasted so bad to me that I threw them away and requested a refund. They had a stale garlic taste. I have to wonder if some of these big companies are using lab grown meats. Will never buy these again.

Awful vinegar smell
Who slathers vinegar on their hotdogs? Might as well buy better tasting sausages. Used to be my favorite, now they just stink up my house I can't even bare the taste of this new recipe.
