  • A: Poo~Pourri is safe for toilets and septic tanks. Our products are biodegradable and formulated with 100% natural essential oils. The formula is designed to create a temporary water surface barrier and eventually breakdown. By the time the product reaches the plumbing pipes, it is significantly diluted with water. The pH of the product is practically neutral so the product is “pipe friendly”. So keep on spritzin’!

This product absolutely works and I have been buying it for about 10 years however, they have changed the packaging and now the pump sprayer breaks in the first week or two. I thought it was a fluke the first time so bought another bottle only to have the same thing happen right away. Very disappointing because it’s a great product but it’s useless if I can’t actually get it out of the bottle.
