Design change?

I bought one of these a couple of years ago and loved it. Stainless steel essentially lasts forever so it's much better for the environment over cheap plastic combs that constantly need to be replaced. Unfortunately I left mine in a hotel and needed a replacement. I bought the same comb, except now it tugs and pulls my hair. Gone are the days of smooth hair styling.

Great product

Awesome comb. It is very durable and has been my go to comb for about a year now and has held up well. I use it for my beard and my scalp because unlike plastic combs, the aluminum combs don’t have the seams on the edge that damaged hair.

Not for thick curly hair

I was very excited about this item. I charged it as instructions instructed. Then turned it on to 400 and started with a small strand and nothing. So I tried it again in same strand then again not leaving it straight and left my hair frizzy .It took 25 minutes to do not even half of my head when it shut off . Ran out of battery. I have long thick curly hair. While this product can work for someone who had different type of hair it didn't for me. I returned this item. Wanted to love this item but they have a lot to work on to make it a better product for every type of hair.

Worth It

I bought both the Conair Metal Dressing Comb and pocket comb and I am glad I did. My hair is full of static in the winter months and it is sometimes embarrassing. I had heard about using metal combs but had a hard time finding one. When I saw these I bought one of each. I can see a big difference. I had only used plastic combs before. I will admit I sometimes use a spray conditioner also so that is why I will give it 4 stars instead of 5 because that may be helping too. I thought the price was very good also. I may buy 2 more just to have in case I misplace them since it was hard to find. Do wish they had them in the store but easy to buy and ship to store for free shipping. (I am a female with shoulder length hair)
