This milk went sour after 2 days open and the best before date is not for 4 weeks, Feb 11 2026. This has never happened to us before! Nothing like pouring cottage cheese into your morning coffee!

Deceptive Labeling
I bought this only because I thought it was 100% grassfed. It's not! Their site says they are out on pasture only 150 days of the year. Company is deceiving customers! Cows from organic milk are already required by law to be grassfed 120 days, only a month less. I wish I can return it and buy Maple Hill instead, which is actually 100% grassfed for less than $1 more. I will never buy from Horizon again!

Closest thing to Australian grade milk
the number is taste new zealand 10/10 cows have no tags live outside and sleep outside and the indoor area is open 100% of the time. australian 9.5/10 same as NZ but indoor area is not open 100% of the time not true freedom Horizon tried it on my vaca to the states: 7/10 in other words horizons partially grass fed milk is equivlent to the lowest of quality milk you can buy here in melbourne. However the best of quality in america, land of the chemicals. normal milk from cstc: in the states 0/10 there is no milk taste is completely different in a bad way compared to aus/nz. scale is skewed in the sense every increment of 1 is 10x better than the previous taste. also why does american milk never expire?? atleast here in aus milk goes bad after opening it in 2-4 days NZ literally not even a whole day. the states while i was there it stayed the same chemical bad taste (cstc) for the whole 3 weeks?? also horizons milk went bad in a week and a half so good on them. far far less chemcials compared to other american milk.

Bitter tasting milk ! Yuk!
I've been buying your milk on and off. But the last half of gallon I purchased , which expires on June 4, 2025, and today is May 2nd - it tastes bitter ! It is not even tasting like spoiled milk , that would make it sour. This is bitter ! It must be the Vit D you keep adding in it. I poured some out in the sink and I noticed it is thicker that fresh milk should be . I am very disappointed and I will never ever buy your brand again ! Why do you have to add Vitamin D in it to begin with ??!!! People know how to supplement on Vit D if they need to ! Leave that out of the milk , will ya ??!!! I have another half gallon in the fridge, unopened, and I am thinking to dump it out. It's just so maddening that something so simple as milk gets horribly treated and processed and abused by big companies like yours and even dare to call it organic ! What's your source of vitamin D that you put in this milk ?? That's not mentioned !what amount ?

I'll be honest. I really don't care if a milk is grass fed or Organic. I happened to try Horizon grass fed when it was on sale just to see what it tastes like. Now the store brand milk tastes like water to me. I use the Horizon grassfed now for my coffee creamer and cooking. I probably only drink 4-5 ounces of milk a day. But when I do, it is so yummy. I do realize it costs more. But, wouldn't you spend more on a wine or beer you really like? ( I'm from Wisconsin). I am at the age where I need to be thinking about getting more calcium in my diet. So glad I found Horizon.
