Inconsistent packaging

Sizes are shrinking
I bought two 10-packs of Hanes Women's Breathable Cotton Brief Underwear in white, one size larger than those I purchased a couple of years ago. For several years, I have been frustrated with the construction of these briefs: the side seams that were formerly actually on the sides of the panties were moved about an inch on each side towards the front. Why? I can't imagine (perhaps as a means of using less fabric), but the result is that the briefs don't fit as comfortably as they used to. So I tried to compensate for this change by trying a larger size. But in the two years since I last bought this item, apparently Hanes decided to further reduce the amount of fabric, so that the new size is the same as the old size. I laid a new pair directly over an old pair, and the elastic waistband was exactly the same size, despite the new being ostensibly larger. So yeah, worse. On purpose. I do still like the all-cotton construction, and it seems that this product lasts a reasonable time. Just keep in mind this reduction in size when you purchase, and choose accordingly

Poor fit
They were not sized correctly and the two out of the ten that did fit I am keeping. They must have been cut across the bias or something as the other eight all fit differently. I am donating them to a local charity with a note that they have never been worn but have been washed.

Hate the colors
Not happy about the colors. I really wish I could have gotten all white. I picked these bc the product picture showed 4pr white but I only got 2🙄 The rest are colors so vibrant they will show through anything except maybe jeans.

Too small even though I bought a size up than usual.
I bought these in a size larger than I usually wear. I washed them and when I went to put on a pair they barely went up past my knees. I’m not sure if they were mis sized or what. And I threw away all of the packaging or I would return them.

Falling apart after one use
I thought the price for this was a great deal but unfortunately there are major holes and tears in multiple pairs after just one wash and one use! Some of the side seams dig in too. All of these issues after sizing up too, I can't imagine the issues with it fitting properly.

Horrible quality
Falling apart way too quickly. 😩 I didn’t even have these long enough before they started ripping at the waist every time they were washed. At first, I thought I had just received a bad batch, but unfortunately, the same thing happened with the second batch as well. Definitely disappointed with the quality.
