This is okay for what it is. As expected from the majority of frozen meals, it looks nothing like the picture. The chicken is just literally chicken nuggets. I cooked it in the oven to give it the best chance at being good. The nuggets were a soggy mess so I can’t imagine how it could be much worse cooking it in the microwave, but at least it’d be done quicker.

talk about false advertising,,your fried chicken is not what you claim,it is just chicken nuggets tossed into mashed potatoes. it is not fried chicken bites. i was so dissappointed when i tried it. if i wanted chicken nuggets,i would have bought them. totally false advertising and lying to the public

Horrible
First time I bought this I thought wow very similar to KFCs bowl. Now the chicken is not round its flat . I will never buy it again. Why did they change it?

Not good
I was so disappointed. Absolutely nothing like the picture on the carton. All the parts were just run together like a stew. The potatoes were sort of like gluey and the chicken pieces were a little soggy. It didn't taste very good. Overall, kind of yucky. I didn't eat very much, just threw it in the trash. May are betterbe the ones other than the Country Fried Chicken

CHANGED CONSISTENCY
These used to be my FAVORITE I would choose them over any fast food ANYDAY but now EVERYTIME I cook one, regardless of from which store; Kroger,Walmart,etc they have a “gritty” consistency instead of a mashed potato consistency. I don’t know why it’s changed suddenly but I wish they would go back to how they were prepped before. Not worth the money. Might as well make mashed potato’s & pre make bowls myself

Yuck
First time to buy Mega Bowl Country Fried Chicken. This will be the last time. Cooked in conventional gas oven. Chicken nuggets were soggy, mashed potatoes were thick, no gravy, about 10 pieces of corn. NEVER AGAIN. We are senior citizens who can not afford waste.

Inedible
Completely inedible. It's been a while since I bought this so I didn't know they had changed it or I wouldn't have gotten it at all. It's grainy and lumpy with pale soggy chicken and curdled milk textured potatoes. The texture of it was so vile I can't even comment on the taste. Do not waste your time. Very disappointing because it used to be good.

Generous portions, tastes great
This is a generous portion size frozen dinner. Classic ingredients of chicken, corn and mashed potatoes. Simple to make, six or seven minutes in the microwave depending on your model. Price is pretty reasonable, depending on where you get it. Some grocery stores run BOGO sales I add a little butter to my mashed potatoes and corn. Other than that it needs nothing else..

Reminds us of a popular school lunch entree.
One day at the grocery store, I saw this product and thought my kids might like it. They have something similar to this for their school lunches. I have bought it on multiple occasions since then. It is easy and quick to make in the microwave. The base component is smooth mashed potatoes topped with corn, cheese, gravy, and Banquet chicken nuggets. The portion fills us up nicely.

False advertisement
Just like everyone said the chicken is not the same on the inside as it is on the picture. It was very disappointing. They are definitely soggy chicken nuggets and the flavor is OK. I’ve always disliked banquet because the food is usually gross but I thought I would give it a try again and I was disappointed as always. Never again.

Not the chicken advertised
I just bought this and the picture on the front and the actual food product is NOT THE SAME. Instead of the popcorn like chicken there used to be in the bowls, like in the photo, there are just chicken nuggets. They get soggy and I’m highly dissatisfied by the discovery.

It didn’t even look like the cover on the box at all. Wasn’t even close. The quality of it looked horrible and it didn’t even look appealing. The mashed potatoes looked like paper flakes. The chicken looked soggy. I took one bite and it was gross.
