Q: What does the back of this look like?

A: Also since the back is unfinished, when you nail it on you can see the unfinished edge (frustrating). They included a detailing marker and I’ve used that to color it from Chanda Brown. Not sure about the other colors

A: Unfortunately, no. The cubbies are made of interlocking panels.

A: Prepac's model number is EEC-4816 (48" Wide Entryway Shelf). The espresso finish seems to be missing from Target's assortment. There are other finishes available naemed: Douglas 48" Hanging Entryway Shelf - Prepac

Quality control is lacking
Put this together and one side of the shoe boxes was not laminated so it looks terrible. I couldn’t click on anything to “fix the issue” other than to return it. So now I need to take it apart to return it. What a mess. Save yourself the headache and choose to buy elsewhere!

Unfinished back causes unfinished top edge; they include matching detailing marker
Smart company to include a detailing marker in case of and scratches etc which may prevent returns. Love the piece- sturdy as described- the shoe panels are interlocking so you have no option to adjust the shelving (which would have been nice - eg trade 3 shelves on one end for boots (note I was not expecting it to be adjustable just thoughts for future design.) so my only complaint is the disappointment in the unfinished edge which shows. Possibly if you don’t line the edge up perfectly evenly it may show less but there’s less than a half inch to nail so I’m not sure what the company intended. I’m using the detail marker to color - which is just a bit annoying and disappointing, thus 4 stars. I probably would have still ordered it even given this situation because there seem to be the best designed and bench that hold at the most shoes compared to any other with that I saw advertised anywhere else. Easy to assemble.
