This chair is very charming, but it wasn't cut properly and didn't go together well. Then, the mortise and tenon joint on one leg came out twice - we used wood glue and a mallet to put it back together. And then, it failed catastrophically, with the leg breaking and splintering (and the other leg and arm breaking as well at the same time). For the record, the two people in my house weigh 120 and 170 pounds, and we very barely used this accent chair.

There must be something wrong with how the chair was manufactured, the screws didn’t align the the holes, and I was unable to put the chair together. The wood is also much redder than it appears online. Returning the item, unfortunately.

Easy assembly, looks expensive, comfortable. Ordered the “otter brown” Its an interesting color and I like it but its not brown. I wish this was available in an olive green instead of this color.

The chair seemed nice but they should not call this wood espresso because it’s completely a warm reddish / orange tone ( no chocolate brown at all). Once I saw the color I didn’t even bother taking the rest out of the box and took it straight back to Target store for return. I do love that Target makes online returns so easy!!!

The wood is more red-toned in person. The chair sits pretty low. It looks pretty cheap/frumpy in person. We returned.

Easy to assemble, but too firm

This really is a beautiful chair, the color is a nice cream with dark wood features. It's aesthetically pleasing. unfortunately, we will be returning it because for us, it's too stiff/firm. if you like a firm chair, then this is great, we prefer soft.

Super easy to put together and looks great! A little firm but still comfortable. 4 stars because it arrived with a few minor scratches on the wood legs. These were minor enough not to outreach for a replacement, but I feel this item could have been packaged better to avoid the issue. I would definitely purchase again.

These chairs are beautiful and very easy to put together. It took about 20 minutes to put each together. We walked on the cushions with our socks to soften them up. We had no issues with anything lining up or holes not being where they should. Very happy with our purchase.

No quality control from the the manufacturer. All of the brackets to attach the apron frame to the seat cushion were installed on the wrong side of the frame. While I could've moved these all manually, it wasn't the only thing wrong: as another reviewer experienced, one of the bolt holes from the side arm into the back cushion was completely misaligned from the female threads, so there was literally no way to assemble the chair. I followed the instructions (don't tighten bolts all the way till everything is assembled), but still impossible. I had to return it in pieces, so I couldn't tell you if it's comfortable... but the fabric color was pretty I guess? Ave 6 (Office Star Products) needs to work on quality control.

Bought this chair based on the reviews. Easy to put together and great to look at. We just wish it was a little more comfortable. The cushions are very stiff but the chair looks fantastic so we are keeping it. Also, I bought it on sale and it was under $175 so what can you buy for that.

Could've been a great chair, but it arrived with a crack in the base frame, and the right side arm screw connection was off...and I followed the directions by not tightening all of the screws until the end to allow some wiggle room. Had to return.

Love our new chairs. Easy to put together and the color was true to what we saw on screen.
