Very Disappointed
Purchased at Penfield store. The meat was red in external for observation and discolored damaged on the flip side. It was disgusting. It was $20.74. Three pieces may have been salvageable.

Yep to all 1 star comments. I cooked in crockpot was chewy, tough, and hard to season. I later put it in the oven and it was like chewing paper. would not recommend. Wish I could be refunded.

Stick it in a crock pot with broth, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, carrots, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and a little bit of honey, cook on high for four hours and you got yourself an easy and delicious meal.

Try the ones in the vacuumed bag.
The steak was perfect size for “value”. I felt like it shrunk more than steaks we buy at our local grocery store. After cooking a well done steak, ours was so tough but still red inside. Also, the smell from them while grilling was fishy and not like steak. I don’t know where target gets the value steak from, but I wouldn’t recommend.

I Purchased this and was worried after reading the reviews that I’d be disappointed. I used a meat thermometer so I was able to monitor the temperature and pull it off the heat when it reached the desired temp. I let it rest and wow I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy it came out.

Was disappointed. Tough and chewy.
Meat was very tough and chewy. Seared before going into crockpot and just piercing fork through it was tough even though it wasn’t cooked all the way through. I’m so sad.

Yuck!
As soon as I pulled the plastic back on the package I almost threw up. These steaks smelled so bad…literally like something dead. I left Target and immediately came home to cook them. The expiration date shows March 30 but these steaks are clearly gone bad.

Weird coloring
Target color's their meat so it stays looking pink, which is incredibly frustrating when you're making a steak and want it prepared a certain way. I ended up significantly overcooking these steaks because they still looked raw.
