A: Thank you for your question! The hook on the suction cup goes on the bar at the top of the silhouette. The hook rotates 90 degrees.

Bright and cute but very delicate and cheaply made. Flimsy and the little plastic buttons holding the whole thing together pop out and it comes apart. Returning unfortunately.

The material is sort of a soft gel, not a hard plastic as you might expect. However, it's nice and light and stuck and stayed on the window easily with the suction cups that it came with. When lit up it's easily seen from the street and I have it on a 2nd floor bedroom window that faces the street. Looks very colorful when lit up too. The cord provided is also long enough that it can be positioned in the middle of my window without needing an extension cord, so that's a (+)

Flimsy-17" is width, barely 15" high. Not awful in daytime but at night when lit, sleigh and Santa aren't visible, just white lights show. Was very disappointed!
