Great connector
It was the second best male to female connector that I have ever used.

thin metal expands too easy
adapter does what it is supposed (change from RG59 to RCA ) but the quality is low. the RCA side fins are too easily expanded making a loose connection. When you try to re-bend them tighter, the fins break off.

Works Perfectly
I got two of these to put on a fairly long run of RG6 to a powered subwoofer in the back of the room. Everything works perfectly with no hum or distortion.

Works with my 5.1 pre-wiring.
I moved into a new home and the builders of my house did 5.1 pre-wiring and used a partially-prepared coax cable for the wiring of the subwoofer, where they used an F to RCA female adapter wall plate. The end that would need to be connected to my receiver was just a cut cable. My setup involved a 5.1 wall plate that included female RCA on both sides, so I ended up getting a coax cable stripper, an F-type twist on, then connected that to this, and this into the 5.1 wall plate (so this is now inside my wall on the other side of the 5.1 wall plate), then just ran a regular RCA from the wall plate to my receiver. No complaints. Works just as intended and works just as well as a straight-up RCA connection to the subwoofer.
