Very thin wire, but does not seem to have a shielding problem in my applcation. A plus side, it's easy to de-kink from being folded. Although why can't sellers just coil rather than fold cables usually? Ho hum.
Not for speaker cables.

These probably work ok for pre-amp to amplifier cables, but too small gauge for speaker cables.
