Description

Despite the introduction of more advanced audio and video signal cables, such as HDMI and Toslink, most audio and a large number of video connections still use the common RCA connector. This is a premium two-channel audio cable made of RG-59 75 ohm coaxial cable. The cable uses a 22AWG conductor and is shielded to prevent EMI or RFI interference from entering your audio system. The connectors are gold plated, for smooth connections and to prevent corrosion. Each connector head features embedded, color-coded rubber rings to ensure a firm grip when installing or removing the cable.

    Monoprice 35ft Premium 2 RCA Plug/2 RCA Plug M/M 22AWG Cable - Black

    When testing this cable one of the plugs was very difficult to remove. In doing so it actually broke away from its connector becoming a cable I could not use. Other reviewers have said the same thing. Lucky, I tested before laying 35 feet of cable. The really good news and why Monoprice gets 5 stars is how they handled my situation. Without hesitation I had another cable coming my way. That cable fit perfectly and solved my problem with having a hum in my speakers.

    Great Cable

    Excellent, thick gauge cable with solid gold plated connectors on both sides. Used to connect 2 separate PA rigs together. Experienced no signal loss and worked flawlessly.

    Took a month to get it, but all's well that ends well.

    Logistics are all screwed up due to the current pandemic, but we can't hold that against the quality of the products. These RCA plugs are being used to connect my Schiit Modi 3 DAC to my legacy Yamaha receiver. Digital USB streaming from my Desktop workstation hasn't sounded better. It sounds way better than the ancient DAC in my receiver did. These are high quality RCA cables regardless of the low price.

    Stiff cables very tight No good for automotive use.

    these RCA cables I purchased for automotive use. They were very Stiff and large I ended up breaking them because they were too large (long) and hit the back of the car frame. Connections were too tight cables too stiff won't buy these again. I bought cheap flexible types and they worked great

    Does the job

    This cable seems to do the job well enough. My biggest, and really only, concern is that the connector ends are really wide, and do not hug or grip the female ports on devices. This leads to the cable easily being pulled out or slipping out and losing the signal.

    Terminal too wide

    By itself the cable is awesome. But when I went to plug it into my speaker, I realized the terminal was too thick to fit. So the cable it nice, but the end is too big to fit into the RCA jack in my speaker! So at the moment I have to tape it to the speaker to get it to stay.
