Monolith USB Digital Audio Cable - USB A to USB B - 1 Meter, 22AWG, Oxygen-Free Copper, Gold-Plated Connectors

Using this between my WIIM Ultra and external DAC. Cable is neutral and very transparent to the source. Sound is smooth. Great separation in instruments and layering. Great buy. Amazing! Very impressed especially compared to higher cost brand name products that cost much more than this. Awesome job Monoprice!

A 'game changer' interface with my MM5R speaks (which I highly recommend). I replaced a 'throw away' printer cable with this 6footer... and it sounds amazing. Note: The MM5R would not recognize my usbc to SPDIF optical-in (who knows why?) and the mac headphone out to RCA-in sounds horrible.

I WAS USING AUDIOQUEST CABLES IN THE PAST, BUT THIS MAY BE EVEN BETTER. SMOOTH, QUIET, BLACK BACKGROUND, VERY NATURAL SOUND. I do wish they would make this cable in a usb A to A female configuration so I could use it to play my WAV recorded usb stick recordings in the car where the USB port is hard to reach. New cars no longer have CD players so the highest quality music is now on USB. I am using one of these cables with a USB B female to USB A female adapter in my car and it sounds great but I would rather not have to use the adapter. IF THEY WOULD MAKE A USB A TO A FEMALE I BET THEY WOULD SELL A LOT OF THEM.

I?m not one that believes in the magical properties of expensive audio cables, but I was having problems with the connection between my Mac Mini, and my DAC. I use Roon, which plays my whole music collection, both locally stored, and streaming from Qobuz as one library. Occasionally the DAC wasn?t automatically switching between formats when the audio changed from, say 24bit flac to DSD, then to mp3. I?d get loud static, and have to restart the DAC to fix it. I switched from the old printer cable that I was using to this cable, and it hasn?t happened, even once, since.

I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

As with all Monolith cables this is top notch. Excellent build quality, durable, fits tight, no data loss. I use this with my Monolith Liquid Spark DAC from my iPhone via lightning camera adapter. No cables I?ve ever tried is better at any price than Monolith and this was quite affordable.

I?ll make it easy for you guys. Forget the overpriced, esoteric crap and get the Monolith USB - it?ll be the last USB cable you will buy. The Monolith is a giant killer. It blew away every cable I own, including expensive offerings from Audioquest, Straightwire, and Oyaide. The delivery is detailed, natural, and organic, with zero grit, grain, or hardness. The sound emanates from a black background, which enhances space, ambience, and reverb. The Monolith is an incredible value and an incredible performer.

Nicely made cable. Connected to Schitt Asgard 3.0 provides good solid connection and sound quality. As far as any cable can be judged subjectively!

Amazing price vs performance value. Rather than go into wordy detail, I'd say try it and see for yourself. Outshone my other more costly USB cables and I'd be happy if I'd paid considerably more. Sunfire Ultimate Receiver, Jolida Glass FX DAC, Infinity Intermezzo 2.6 speakers, Macbook.

These are nice USB cables. I am using them between a Yulong Canary DAC and a W7 PC. There was an audible improvement over the stock USB cable and the build quality is obvious. It would cost a LOT of money to better these cables. I have a $100 USB cable in another system, but I could be happy with this Monoprice cable. I bought 2 extra pairs to give to friends.

I had a $90 AQ USB cable connecting from a media server to Denafrips DAC and was quite happy with it. After seeing many good reviews about the Monolith USB cable I decided to give it a try since it only costed $15. Well, I didn't expect to hear such a difference between the USB cables, this one made the system sound much fuller and holographic, also with more details for each instrument (orchestral recordings). After realizing USB cable did matter, I went ahead ordered a cable made in Europe that won accolades from many audiophiles. Again I was able to hear differences, but still preferred the Monolith as it was more transparent and balanced (vs thicker and bass-heavy sound from the other cable).

I was a little skeptical that a USB cable could make a difference but I was happily surprised with this excellent cable. Using a super quality setup (with Audioquest Nighthawk Carbon headphones, Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital DAC, going to a JDS Labs EL DAC II, I was able to hear a noticeable improvement in soundstage definition, air and clarity of cymbals and a focus and liquidness to vocal midrange. I'm super impressed given this is my first purchase from Monoprice for anything "audiophile".

Build looks good. Sounds great. But I have nothng to compare it with. Used it to connect iphone to a Schiit multibit DAC. Smooth. Definite recommendation for the price.
