5 years later and buying new ones for my second son.
My 10 year old has used these socks from sizes small to large for the last 5 years. They’ve held up well as he has only used them on Sundays for church and I do not allow him to play in them, just for church. They’ve worn down over the years and even now as he’s 10 years old and in men’s size 9 1/2, I JUST threw away his last pair. They last as dress socks as long as you have toe nails clipped and the right size. If you’re getting holes in the toes like my son did at the end, it’s because your kid is wearing them too small and also might have their toes rubbing on their shoes and may need bigger shoes. Forget about using them as play socks, the sole isn’t thick enough. The small size is for toddlers, medium for size 10-12 in little kid and large for up to size 4 or 5 or even 6 in kids. They’re not thick, but I like that they are neutral colored and don’t have a design on them. I’m currently buying new ones for my 4 year old and am so glad Target still sells them!

I like that these don’t shrink as much as other sock brands we have. They are so much easier to put on. They are also a bit slippery though on wood floors. But they are comfortable for my son.

Inaccurate size chart
The size chart is NOT ACCURATE. Based on the online chart, I bought a size small for my son who wears a size 13-1 shoe. The size small is entirely too small and says on the tag 5.5-8.5. No clue on the comfort, durability as we cannot use them.
