Faulty design
It was enough clay for all 3 globes but it would not seal at all! The plastic clear top was too big for the bottoms. It was dissapointing.

We're sorry to hear you had an issue - we've child tested the quantity of clay to complete all 3 globes. As for assembly, it sounds like you may have assembled the clay on the wrong side of the base. The globes will only fit properly if the shallow side of the base without the removable stopper is facing upward. This is the side on which the clay should be built. This detail can be found in your instructions: "Place the base on your work station with the shallow side facing up. This is the side you will decorate. Do not decorate the side with the removable stopper." Luckily you can remove and assemble on the correct side to complete.

Very fun and creative
Me and my 4 almost 5 year old had so much fun doing this. They turned out so cute. I didn’t have any trouble sealing them, but just did this the other day so not sure how they last overtime. For us this was a great screen time- free evening activity that we really enjoyed so worth the price alone on that basis. Had justtt enough clay would have liked a little more did not have enough to make the taffy rainbow, hence the 4 stars.

Cute but defective
I was having fun making these with my girls and they are really cute! Except for the end when the top of the snowglobe literally WILL NOT seal. So frustrating!

Please note, the globes will only fit properly if the shallow side of the base without the removable stopper is facing upward. This is the side on which the clay should be built. This detail can be found in your instructions: "Place the base on your workstation with the shallow side facing up. This is the side you will decorate. Do not decorate the side with the removable stopper." Luckily, you can simply remove the clay and replace it on the other side to solve the issue.

We are sorry to hear you experienced difficulty with sealing your project. We indicate to make sure the clay is pushed all the way to the edges to get a perfect seal once the glue is applied. We do provide drip trays for any small leaks and indicate that they also look great without water added if you choose!

Terrible instructions 😭
It was terrible. I couldn't make it because I didn't know how the instructions were terrible. Also the clay took forever to dry. This toy is a stupid stinker.

We're sorry to hear of the difficulty - this kit features non-drying clay. Our instructions have been updated, removing the need for craft glue and any drying time. The original instructions indicate to "let it dry," this is referring to the glue, not the clay. There is no longer a need to use glue to secure the figurines or wait for them to dry.

Not enough Clay
I bought my 7 year birthday. They give you 5 clay sticks for 3 snow globes and you have to put it the bottom not enough to create the activity. Don't buy!

Crappy present
I gave my 10 yr old granddaughter this for her birthday. Big disappointment. Instructions weren’t clear and it was almost impossible to put together without globe breaking. A waste of time and money.

Pleased but not super easy
These globes looked nice when they were done, but there were some complicated steps involved in making them. Younger users may find it difficult to do them on their own. Also, the globes took awhile to dry and finish, making it hard to complete during a play date. But, the process was fun and rewarding overall.

Cute activity
My daughter loved this craft. For the most part it was all fine, except when we got to filling the water. Something about the way that air bubbles cannot escape makes it difficult to fill with water, maybe it needs two holes instead of one. I found a way around it though, and used a syringe to push water into the hole. This was also nice because on one of them I noticed air coming out of a different area where we didn’t glue well enough, so I was able to fix it before it leaked. I noticed a lot of people saying there isn’t enough clay to fill the bottoms plus decorate, but there is. The directions specify to make a very thin layer, and that’s really all that’s needed, you don’t need to use as much as you think you do, as long as the whole bottom and all of the edges are covered. We did all 3 with decorations and still had some left over.

Did not dry, even after a month!
We made these over a month ago, and they still haven't dried. The clay is still moldable! We can't finish this craft, so we have absolute garbage and a very unhappy 5 year old.

Such a cute craft
I’m surprised by the bad reviews. We followed the directions and everything was perfect! No leaking and nothings falling apart. We had clay leftover! We just let the clay and glue dry overnight before adding water the following day! So cute!
