Description
This Mission style outdoor wall light features a stately tree branch design inspired by nature. From the John Timberland brand of outdoor lighting, the design features rounded etched cream diffuser glass, which offers a warm and welcoming cast of light. A spreading tree branch pattern sits over the glass, and comes in a bronze finish, as does the lantern-style profile frame and the backplate. The fixture is crafted from corrosion resistant cast resin, making it marine grade rated. A wonderfully decorative look ideal for Mission and Arts and Crafts style homes, farmhouse exteriors, and both porch and garage lighting applications.

Resin, not cast metal construction
Great looking. Good size. But cheap, cheap, cheap. Folks should be aware that these lamps look like cast metal but are really molded resin. We will use them, but they were not what we were expecting.

Deceptive
The first word in the description is bronze. The only bronze in the lamp is the color painted on the plastic. Everything from the bracket, to the top, to the frame and tree pattern is yellowish plastic covered in bronze-colored paint. The globe does appear to be real glass. I would be surprised if the entire lamp cost more than $10 to produce. The attraction of arts-and-crafts is the craftsmanship. There is no craftsmanship in this lamp.

Beautiful. Just what I needed
I love my new lights. Because they are opaque, I couldn’t use dusk/dawn sensors in the bulbs. This was explained well by the sales clerk and I purchased what they recommended for dusk to dawn. They are high quality and a little different than the ordinary outdoor lights.

Mission Style High Outdoor Wall light
My husband floored me when he said he liked the lights that are on a beam of our porch peaked covering. I liked the style when I first saw the lamps. We like the dimmable LED bulbs that cast just enough light on our restyled patio cover. I added screen wire from a fixit kit so that bugs would not get in there--these are probably 14 ft. from the patio. I fitted the light repair screen inside the bottom opening with small pieces of you guessed it--dark duct tape which you cannot see. Hopefully the LED will last several years.

We just installed two of these indoors over our fireplace and mantle in the living room of a 1915 Arts and Crafts home that we are completely remodeling. I love the way they look!
