Q: Can this lamp take a 3-way bulb?

A: Hello - no, this lamp only has an on-off socket, not a 3-way socket, so a 3-way bulb will not work in this design. If you are looking for the functionality of 3-way bulbs, we'd suggest adding a tabletop line cord dimmer to the lamp. Using the dimmer you can set the light level to whatever you want, not just three levels, giving you far greater lighting control. Hope that helps and thank you for the question!

Not as expected
Returned, beautiful mica shade but the base is a painted plastic. I mistakenly assumed it was metal based on the description of it being an “industrial” style. Also it’s very lightweight. Customer service took care of the return with ease. Will keep looking.

I received conformation new lamp replacement was on its way & dispose of broken lamp base . Well worth money.

I'm keeping this lamp because it's only in a bedroom and I like the overall size and look of it. The complaint is the finish on the base. There are very obvious blank spots to make it look rustic but as you can see from the photos, it looks really bad the more you turn up the light. With the lamp off it's okay but at 100 watts it's really noticeable. Just a word of warning because you can't tell from the website.
