Light and sound buzzers provide a great way to boost student response during your classroom activities or games. Lifelike sounds replicate sounds from the real world to add to the entertainment. I would not buy this for a library--can't turn them off.

We bought this for our Library of Things. Without keeping items in their original box, it's impossible to package them in any container as one cannot shut them off as there is no on/off switch. If they bump against each other, they will go off continuously. The original box does not lend itself to circulating on its own, but that's what we'll have to do as no case or zippered bag works for this. This would work better in a classroom or home where the set doesn't have to travel. Batteries were not included. Each buzzer takes 2 AAA batteries so you will need 8 per set.

Good but one buzzer not working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the buzzers was not working. Also not so easy to open battery compartment. Otherwise a great toy.

broke within the first 3 minutes of use

The red one quit working with in the first 3 minutes or so of a quizzing session. It no longer pops up. It is stuck in the activate mode so all it does is make a siren noise.

So much fun!

I received this product as part of an incentivised review program. I use these buzzers with students to review material in a game show format. They love working cooperatively with each other and competing in groups using the buzzers to answer questions. The colors and sounds of the buzzers make this activity fun and exciting for students.

Great Buzzers

I received this product as part of an incentivized review program. The buzzers were an awesome addition to my activities. The students loved to use the buzzers and were easy to use. I used these buzzers with every subject and it was easy to include in activities. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Incentive!

I received this free product as part of an incentivized review program. It was easy enough to install batteries. As an elementary teacher, working with students diagnosed with a wide variety of disabilities, I primarily use the buzzers in incentive/reward situations. While my students would love to press these buzzers all day long, I always make them WORK for the opportunity! After completing a challenging task they are rewarded with the chance to press a buzzer. They each have their favorite sound/color. The "laser" buzzer has been less appropriate in the classroom, as a few students have called it "shooting" sounds, which we do not encourage.

Game show fun

I received this product as part of an incentivised review program. I use the buzzers in my elementary art classroom durring game times. I like the distinct sounds and colors for each table. I do wish that there were 2 more buzzers but I just purchased some animal sound buzzers to go alon with these buzzers. The studnets get extra excited about pressing the buzzers and it makes the classroom activity, like studying for a test or reviewing material, feel like being on a game show!

Fun for an adult classroom too!

I got these for use in my corporate training room. We do a lot of reviews in our new hire onboarding program, and I wanted to make things a little more fun. I bought this set and the barnyard sounds set - so that each rep would have something different for a sound. I ended up having to put a piece of tape over the speaker - to not disrupt the other training rooms. But, they are a hit! My colleagues are already borrowing them for their programs. We've used for individual challenges - and for team challenges. They are a fun addition to our review time!

Lights and Sounds Buzzers, Set of 4

I use these lights and sounds buzzers several times a week. They add fun and excitement to learning! These lights and sounds buzzers are a must have in every classroom! I use them to create a game show atmosphere. Each table competes against the others to answer a question first. My students beg to use these buzzers every day!
