I have always bought this lighter weight 100% cotton one (TOG . 05) so then mom can adjust the sleeper underneath should a warmer sleeper be needed for a chillier room in the winter. I just ordered a new XL for my almost 2 1/2 y. o. grandson who is an average size & it fits him well.
