  • A: NO, Not unless you "open" the Nespresso Verturo Capsule...and pour the contents into a My K-Cup Universal REUSABLE Filter ($8.9 But, that would be a lot of trouble and wouldn't be cost efficient! ;-D

  • A: Hi Gianna, thank you for your question. The caffeine content per brewed capsule for our Colombia is approximately between 130 to 200 mg. The variation in the amount of caffeine depends mainly on the green coffee. Robusta contains roughly twice as much caffeine as Arabica. Caffeine content is also determined by the amount of ground coffee in the capsule, the degree of roasting, and to a lesser extent, the coffee origin. There is no correlation between the assigned "intensity" and caffeine content.

    These Starbucks Vertuo pods are SO good. Super smooth, rich flavor, and honestly taste like something I’d order at Starbucks without leaving the house. The blonde espresso is my favorite especially iced with vanilla syrup and oat milk. Way cheaper than daily coffee runs and the pods work perfectly with my Nespresso machine. Definitely a staple in my kitchen now.

    Smooth Taste

The flavor feels really balanced and smooth without being too strong, and I pick up a light nutty taste that makes it feel a little more premium than most pods I have tried. I usually drink my coffee black and this one has a clean finish with no bitterness which I really appreciate. It has been perfect for mornings when I just want something reliable that still tastes good without putting much thought into it. I can definitely see myself buying these again. #freesample

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee was stronger than I would expect from a medium roast. In fact it was too strong for me to enjoy the way I usually drink my coffee. I tried it without sugar, which is how I drink my coffee usually and it was too bitter. With a little sugar it was better, but still too strong for my tastes. It did however have a pleasant aroma. I'd recommend it for anyone who likes their coffee strong. #AD #FreeSample

    Nespresso Veranda & Columbia Virtuo Pods

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Nespresso Virtuo machines for 5 years and enjoy the option of purchasing pods through their website, but its more convenient that I can run to my local Starbuck's or grocery store and grab a box or two of my favorite Starbucks virtuoso pods. The Veranda pods are great for creamers that have more flavor since the pod is a light roast. It picks up flavor really well and is nice to have on hand if you enjoy layering flavor. Layering flavor is harder with darker roasts so I always choose a lighter one for that. It has a nice smooth taste with malted and chocolate notes, but still has enough caffeine to keep me awake in the mornings. Columbia pod has a more intense flavor profile so I used more mild creamers for this one. It has notes of toasted Walnut and Herbs but I don't pick up on those. The pod is really good tasting but I don't taste Walnut at all. I choose this one when I want as stronger coffee flavor.

    Love these!

    Balanced & Nutty

    A bit of Heaven in a cup.

This Starbucks by Nespresso Colombia is absolutely superb. This coffee is quite bold and robust and absolutely delicious. It has subtle notes of nuts and herbs and is a medium roast but quite delicious.. This coffee really lit up my day. One of my pleasures in my life is to enjoy my coffee whenever I want and this single cup allows me to do just that. I just love these flavors and love the boldness and the high-quality taste. I highly recommend it. I also tried Veranda Coffee which is a light roast with notes of malt and baking chocolate. I enjoyed this flavor and the lightness of the coffee. It wasn't overly bitter or overpowering. It had the right balance and tasted fantastic.
