Good quality tent at a reasonable price
Tent was easy to setup in about 10 minutes with another person. It feels like it was built well with good materials. It also has 4 hanging pouches and overhead mesh shelf for storage that came in handy. We encountered light rain at the end of our trip and the tent did a really nice job repelling water. I had to deduct 1 star for a tiny hole in the mesh screen material on the backside.

Easy setup dome tent
Review of Tamarack 6 Person Dome Tent I’m so ready to get out and do some camping in the great outdoors with my new Tamarack tent! I always like to do a trial run of any new camping gear in the comfort of my back yard so that’s where I did my first setup. The tent was delivered in a sturdy box. I was thrilled with how easy the tent is to set up. It comes with two shock cord sections, super quick to thread thru channels. It comes with easy to understand instructions that are attached to the carrying case. This way I don’t have to worry about losing them. I was able to set the tent up by myself in about 10 minutes. I am 5’7 so I did ask my hubby to assist with adding the rain fly. I could have managed it alone but it was easier with a second set of hands. I accomplished this setup with a brisk wind speed of 15 mph. With the wind it was nice to see the attached guy ropes to keep everything secured. The tent is well made and I really like the blue and grey color scheme. This dome tent is a good size, 12 x 7. I can easily fit my two adult size sleeping bags, camp chairs and table. A nice extra is an attached mud mat in the front to put my rug for wiping off feet before entering. This tent offers so many options to make it comfortable. The rain fly is well made, sealed seams, fits securely, also helps keep out the wind. The fly has a zipper that can be opened for additional airflow. There is also a shock cord fly that creates a protective awning over the door. Without the fly you have a nice screen room and can enjoy looking up at the stars. The guyout vent is an added feature that really helps keep humidity and heat out. The door is a D style with screen inside. The zipper is well constructed and glides perfectly. A couple of extra perks are gear hammock, small items storage pockets and an e-port. I used this to run my extension cord to power my heater. It was 35* on this staycation. Take down was a breeze, about 5 minutes. Was pleased that I could repack it back into the carrying case without any trouble. Super happy with this versatile, well made tent!
