A: Thanks for your interest in our Dressing Plant Based Squeeze. This product has a one-month ambient open shelf life and a two-month refrigerated open shelf life. It is not necessary to refrigerate Best Foods brands of mayonnaise, including the Extra Heavy, Real Mayo, Half The Fat, Light, and Reduced Fat formulations, even after opening. The recommended storage temperature for all of these products is between 45°F-85°F. To maintain flavor quality throughout the shelf life of the product, it can be refrigerated; however, this is not a food safety concern. Additionally, mayonnaise should not be frozen as it can separate. We hope this helps!

BEST VEGAN MAYO
I’m actually obsessed with this vegan mayo!!! I’m not vegan but I thought I’d try it and wow. I haven’t bought Hellmann’s regular mayo in 3 years because of this product! I used it on sandwiches, in dressings, in sauces, baked goods, you name it. This is a holy grail product for me! It tastes so good, like mayo with the egginess that can sometimes be a bit off putting.

Great Vegan Mayo
Just because you’re vegan, does not mean you have to give up mayo. You can use this product without compromising taste. It tastes and texture is identical to regular mayo. I use this in my egg salad, on sandwiches, and recipes. It’s gluten free and egg free.

Shrinkflation?
Glad for a vegan mayo that tastes like the Hellman’s I grew up with. Lose one star for all the air in the bottle, so much so that it is difficult to squeeze the product out. The large jar is better cost wise but spoils before it can be used up.

I'm assuming this is not good canola oil that is either processed on not stainless steel, or actually rancid oil. It's nasty and for 5 bucks one expects a quality product.

Not bad if you grew up on MW
It's really not terrible. It suits my egg/legume food allergies, and the consistency works to mix into dressings, dips, and salads that require mayo. Does it taste like mayo? No. It's closer to MW. Would I want this on a sandwich alone? No. I use it to get as close to the dressings and spreads I enjoy and use those on sandwiches instead.

The consistency of this dressing is closest to Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise, which is great for recipes and sandwiches. The product doesnt contain all the guar gums that other vegan dressing use.. I just have a difficult time finding the product on grocery shelves even though they give tons of space to Hellmanns.

Not what I was hoping for
I bought this hoping that it might be a redone version of the Best Foods Sandwich Spred I used to get (and my parents before me). I miss it terribly, and don't understand why the marketing types had it go away. You've still got the best mayo around, but you shouldn't have gotten rid of the old Sandwich Spred.

Delicious! Tastes like the original. My non vegan family members love my potato salad every bit as much with this stuff. To me it's better. No weird taste like original.
