Comfort Smart Fire Crackler Sound System - CS-FC

It's nice. Doesn't put off as much heat as we hoped and expected, but adds some warmth and esthetic appeal.

Unfortunately this was a disappointment in operation and sound. The unnecessary childproof battery cover would not come off, even when using a variety of micro-screwdrivers. After about a half-hour of trying various tools, I just broke it open and installed the batteries, leaving them exposed. The sound was unreal, childlike as if in a toy (which may explain the battery cover issue). I purchased two so I'll be sending the second one back.

Love it! Especially like being able to enjoy the look of a fireplace with the wood crackling without heat. With heat on, performs great

This has really made my fireplace complete with wonderful memories from my English childhood by the talking fireplace in the winter. All I need now is some chestnuts to roast.

I love my new fireplace/tv stand. It heats up the room nicely. The extra crackling gizmo I bought to make the sounds of a fire is not worth the money. The trucking company who delivered my purchase was TERRIBLE and did not show up with my purchase the first 2 times they said they were coming. It was a little more difficult to put together than we thought, but it is lovely and very classy looking.

A fire with no crackle would be weird. This makes it very realistic.

It sounds okay, but there's a slight hollow/ echo type sound that, if eliminated, could improve the crackling sound.

This a cheap plastic box that needs batteries and doesnt even attach to the fireplace, have to find some where concealing to put it, so you can constantly change batteries!

I absolutely can’t stand the yellow wash over the rocks. I have to paint it white. White rock fireplace is not what I wanted!!!

The problem is that the speaker is separate and should be together with the equipment so that it doesn't look like something added.

I would like to return it. I did not know the Fireplace came with one already installed. And to me it is very annoying. But I do love the Fireplace.

We are teally enjoying our fireplace. The crackler makes it so realistic. We just love it.
