Solar was an amazing discovery by someone who harnessed the sun to create electricity. Charles Fritts was the first person to invent the photovoltaic cell in1883 that converted radiation to electricity and it has been used until today. It has gained high popularity in recent decades because of its technology getting more efficient and less expensive. The effect of green house gases have started to show global warming becoming and issue in recent decades as well and people have invested more money to researching this naturally occurring power source. The sun is blazing everyday and night for us and we take it for granted. Power can be generated from that radiation of the sun and we have started to create technology that doesn't need any attachment to a grid of electricity.
