So helpful! I wish I had gotten these sooner. Highly recommend to start as soon as you’re comfortable. They make a huge difference in healing and protecting the incision , especially as it gets uncomfortable from dampness and heat.

Used postpartum during first few weeks while still numb. Showered in them easily and helped prevent clothing from rubbing. Easy to cut to fit your size needed and wore them for a week before replacing. After nerves came back I felt like a little itchiness when wearing so I had to stop depending on these.

I was not aware you can wear them up to 7 days! As plus size mommy who is post op 2 weeks I wore one for each day , it failed to stick on me & kept coming off after my showers , they are expensive I went through the box quick. I went back to buy another box and it was sold out.

Great for laparoscopic surgeries too
I love these strips! I’ve used them for two different laparoscopic surgeries: one for endometriosis and one for a hysterectomy. In both cases, I was able to cut the strips into smaller pieces, putting one section over each laparoscopic incision after the hospital tape fell off. These strips completely stopped my incisions from itching and from painfully rubbing on my clothing, making healing so much less stressful. Highly recommend these for any type of abdominal surgery!

Used for tummy tuck
I have read a lot of mixed reviews on these. I actually got them for my tummy tuck and honestly they have been great. I just started them so I can’t confirm how my scar will look in weeks to come, but I will say it’s already flattened the incision out because it was raised in some areas from how it was stitched. It also does not roll up all day. It stays stuck to my skin perfectly. It helps prevent my underwear and belly wrap from rubbing on my incision. So far I am impressed. I also liked the fact that it’s a name brand item.

Great for Plastic Surgery
Hi, I'm not a mommy. I had a DIEP Flap procedure and figured a scar strip made especially for women would be of better quality. These stick to your body so well, and yes...even in the shower. It's too early to see if they've made an improvement, but I'm sure they will. Since they're a bit pricey, if you'll have several scars to cover, you might want to try and grab them on sale.

I wouldn't recommend these patches because of the ambuguity as to how to use them. There is little guidence here from "Hillary" and they constantly say to refer to your doctor, but my doctor has never heard of these, and has no advice. For example, there is a question below that says "what do you do after wearing for 24 hours? do you reset for a certain amount of time, ect" and the response just says "ask your doctor" I would recommend a product with more clear instructions like a derm cream.

Love these!!!
After my 2nd c-section I decided to use these strips and it has made ALL of the difference from my first surgery where my scar keloid from my underwear and pants rubbing against it. This time around I have had no problems and it’s healing flatter, less noticeable and doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as the first go round!

Used these for my breast reduction cuts. Each one was long enough for each boob cut. More comfy and stays better than scar tape from Amazon. Not sure if they help with the scar appearance yet but kept cuts clean and was soothing. Kept them on for a week then would trash and do new ones.

They did stay on my scar through showers and for days at a time, but I’m not sure if I would use if I had another c section or recommend to a friend. If they did one thing, it was prevent my scar from rubbing on my clothing, but I don’t think they did much else

Did not buy for myself but after using them, I am re-buying. At the very least it helps significantly with just keep the surgical site safe from friction. Which that in itself keeps the scar from becoming red, irritated and even itchy. Regarding its ability to make the scar less noticeable, I cannot say because I have only used it for 7 weeks. I do have high hopes that it will work just based on its ability to protect the surgical site from the elements. Worth trying out if you’re curious, and I would say worth the money since each individual patch lasts for a week.
