Can't be used with rechargeable battieries!
There are many reviews saying the lamp arrived defective, and I thought mine was too… but I discovered the problem was that you can’t use rechargeable batteries! I tried a couple different sets of rechargeables and none worked… Tried some standard disposable batteries, and it turned on immediately. I am thinking that a lot of people have returned the lamp thinking it was defective, but they probably just needed different batteries! Besides that, it’s a cute little lamp. Way too expensive for what you get, but that’s pretty much all Minecraft branded stuff.

Does not light up!
Bought this as a christmas gift and as others have said, it does not light up. Very disappointed, but easy return. Buyer beware.

Waste of money
The non-replaceable lights inside the bee died before the first set of batteries I put in it. Lasted about 2 weeks of using it every night for 15 minutes. Don't waste your money

Did not work - returned
I bought this lamp as a gift for my daugher, who really wanted it. It did not work. We tested several sets of batteries, and even tested the batteries we used to be sure they worked in other devices, and nothing worked. It was an easy return at Target, but a disappointment to my daughter and an inconvenience to me.

Clemindale the Bee
Probably the best investment Ill ever make. Its cute, its bright, and now I have a mini seratonin generator! Only issue I have with it is that Im gonna have to barricade my home cause my sister wants it. In all seriousness, the biggest issue Ive noticed is that it looks like its supposed to come with a cord of some kind as theres a little hole for one under it. Which it never came with one, im not sure if its an error or what. But other than that its a great little friend for any lonely single person living alone with their cat!

Very dissapointing
Received the item and although it looks fine it does not light up.
