Q: if the table top is too small for the the baseplate, how do you recommend Downsizing the plate? And how do you recommend securing it to a tabletop?

A: Have you tried command strips or doubled sided tape? Maybe use smaller plates to create a larger area with the color that you want while still creating the space you want? Let us know what you came up with!

Poor fit, warps and bends
These baseplates are very poor and do not fit within the ”LEGO System”. It is not possible to attach large bricks or plates, they do not fit snugly and fall off the baseplate. Attempting to cover the entire baseplate causes it to bend and warp, it’s as if it is smaller in size than the attached pieces. The fit is very loose and the pieces eventually fall off and/or break.

Measurements are whack
I made a lego table for my son with 4 of these and (2) 2 cube organizers by brightroom, also target. These baseplates say just over 13" square. So there was a bit of overhang on the edges of the cube organizer. But a quick YouTube video showed me how to easily cut the baseplate straight. I am however irritated I could not find the exact measurements for the baseplates.

Because of their size they're thinner than the normal baseplates that come in the sets. This means they're not as strong and will bend under lego weight. They are perfect for lego tables and attaching to the wall for vertical builds.

Lego gray base plate
We been getting into lego and lego free build, so i wanted something that we can build on. Most of the other baseplates tho the color are more colorful i gotten the gray because its the biggest baseplate and good for a courtyard with a fire pit and a castle. The pro: Its size Its value( on sale) Con: Still feel like the material is on the thin side unlike the duplo baseplate the material is stiffer.
