About the Author

Cathy has worked on everything from picture books to finger puppet books, as well as many coloring and activity books for very young children. Her favorite things to draw are princesses, fairies, knights, pirates, and mermaids. Cathy can usually be found reading mythical tales from long ago! She loves working from home in the beautiful English Cotswolds, which is overflowing with art materials and books, as well as boxes of Japanese furoshiki. She fell in love with the color and design of Japanese textiles when she visited Kyoto, and is now learning Japanese!
