Monoprice DS-6 True Bypass Analog Vintage Distortion Full-size Guitar Effect Pedal - Indio Series

I can get such good tone and match so many songs from the 80's and 90's. Anything from Bush, Staind, Greenday, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, GNR with just minor tweaks. This is so much better than a Boss DS-1 for Vintage distortion in my opinion

I own several Distortion pedals but I bought ths one for travel because of its low price and high quality. I contine to be impressed by Monoprice.

Returned it because of loud hum it produced when using the nine volt power supply. I ordered one and returned it only to find out the second one I asked for, a replacement did the same thing. Returned that one as well.

I'm a fan of Monoprice pedals. They provide a lot of flexibility and tremendous bang for the buck. This distortion pedal is no exception, but there is an issue: - there is a lot of noise with it in the signal path (even when not activated). - I cannot keep it on the same Monoprice power daisy chain without an oscillating interference noise. It does not matter what order they are chained. None of my other Monoprice pedals have this problem - I can reduce the issue by running it separately on a 9V battery, but that is really annoying... and even on battery power, there is still some noise. For $29 I can live with it, but it should be fixed
