About the Author

Elise McMullen-Ciotti is an author, children's book editor, and food scholar with NYU Steinhardt's Food Studies master's program. She is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation and grew up in Texas. Today, she lives in New York City with her husband, a large personal library, and an open kitchen.
