I like the box in general, I’ve only had two problems with it, and one was fixable so far. The latch popped off, but I was able to reattach, although I worry that having to do this too many times will wear away the plastic that holds the metal rods at the hinge. The bigger problem is that the seal on the lid has started to disintegrate in one area. I have looked for replacement seals for the lid, but can find them nowhere. I bought this in March and it has been my son‘s lunchbox 2-3 days per week since then. I followed the maintenance instructions and hand washed the lid each time. I am filing a warranty claim as it has been under six months. I suppose if the lid gasket seal is not replaceable that that would be an obvious place to improve upon the design; as well as reinforcing the hinge mechanism.

Concept is good.. works great for sandwhiches, veggies. Do not recommend yogurt, salsa, anything runny. It will get in multiple compartments.. hello soggy sandwhich.

After just one use, the hinge snapped completely, making the box unusable. I didn’t drop it or misuse it, it was just from normal opening and closing. For a product marketed as durable and ideal for everyday use, this was really disappointing. I expected better quality for the price. Hopefully, this was just a manufacturing defect, but I won’t be taking the risk on another one.

The bento box holds the perfect amount of food for my lunch and the seal is air tight so it doesn't leak at all despite being on its side most of the day. The snack container also works very well and makes it easier to carry a snack in my briefcase instead of it being in a squishy bag. I can not recommend these products enough.

I really like the size and sturdiness. The problem is that the tiny plastic hinge broke after about a week and a half. It isn’t strong enough for the size of the lunchbox. This happened to our last Bentgo too.

Love the idea of the product however the hooks that hold the lid to the bottom compartment are badly done. I bought the blue and light purple ones and they both broke even thought they were in brand new condition. i attached photos of the purple one.

Super cute, love that the inner dish is removal and dishwasher safe. On the downside, it leaks and the part that attaches the lid broke quite soon after buying it. Unfortunately it’s out of the return window so nothing I can do about it apart from hope that someone helpful sees this!

As much as I would like to love this product because of the design, it is sad that both my daughter’s lunchboxes are now broken..the lids on both separated from the body and i have to put tape on the lid cause otherwise, it will open and the food will spill 😞

The hinge breaks so easily even with slight push. It is a lunch box for kids it has to be sturdy .. moreover water gets in the cover when you put it in the dishwasher.. I got two of these and now both are broken.

I love the style and size of this lunchbox. It makes packing my lunch for work pretty easy. I only had it for a few months, however, and part of the clasp broke. I don’t run that part through the dishwasher and am generally easy on it.

We have grown up with the Bentgo brand and I really like this one (we have bought many versions). I love the fact that this one is one simple closure snap. Other versions can be a big tough to snap. It is also very eay to clean. Not a lot of grooves or crevices for food to get stuck in.
