    I feel betrayed

    I'm furious, I have been feeding my basset hounds this food for months and my dog is all broke out. I found the ingredients to include chicken meal and chicken fat. This is supposed to be beef and brown rice. Never again.

    My dogs like this food

    My 2 dogs like this food. It smells better than the last brand that I was feeding them. So far, we've gone through almost two of the 34 lb. bags. I bought it because it was on sale but will continue to buy more. Four stars instead of 5 because I only give a 5-star review to dog food that smells good enough for me to eat.

    Miss leading. It should not have any chicken!

    The front of the bag says no chicken. The ingredients say chicken. My dog is allergic to chicken. I bought this thinking there was no chicken. Very disappointed.

    Hi there! Our packages state that we do not use chicken by-product meal or poultry by-product meal in our foods. We follow strict AAFCO guidelines definitions for feed ingredients. The AAFCO definition for meals prohibits the use of by-products. All of our "chicken free" offerings will have that called out on the front of the bag.     My dog loves the beef

    I have aa 5 year old American Bully who's a rescue dog. He is the most picky eater I've ever had, and if he doesn't like it, he just won't eat it. I had challenges finding a food he liked, because he won't eat chicken, but I found this, it's beef, and he just loves it! He likes the life source bits, too. Since he's been on Blue Buffalo, his energy level is high, and his coat is shiny, smooth and beautiful. his stools are good, he never farts or has bad breath. So it seems his body likes it too. I'm happy that i'm not feeding him preservatives or artificial garbage.

    My Pittie loves the Beef because the bites are small. She is a very picky eater and the vet recommended this. I like that it doesn’t contain a lot of fillers. We tried the Chicken first which she ate pretty well but she seemed to favor the Beef more.

    Picky Great Dane

    Great product, I have a great dane that wont eat anything but beef and is extremely picky and he loves this. Wish they made it in a large breed beef flavor. Trust me when i say we have tried the whole line of Life protection and this is the only one he will eat and thats not including all the other brands we have tried.. THANK YOU !

    My Pitty Likes It!

    I adopted my pitty from a shelter, and transitioned her to Blue Buffalo, beef and rice! she seems to love it, she does not turn away any food. But i have noticed her poop being much more firm. I am thankful to have a healthy based dog food for my girl!
