The stem, rim, size and shape all make for a very fine elegant look and feel. We always enjoy drinking out of these glasses, almost like having your favorite mug. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Libbey makes an outstanding product. These wine glasses are very sturdy and durable. Also they're big. My wife made a comment that she could put one bottle in the glass. The glasses are dishwasher safe, but prefer to handwash them.

Not as Advertised
This did not come in the attractive gift box pictured and mentioned in the description. It came in an ugly cardboard shipping box which I now have to give as a bridal shower gift (totally ruining the presentation). On the plus side, it came with 6 glasses not 4, and arrived within 48 hours.
