Q: Just how is the 'rise' measured for these shorts? According to 'Google', the rise on shorts varies between 7 - 13 inches. These are in the 20's?

  • A: Hold the tape at the center back of your waist. Run the tape between your legs, pulling comfortably at the crotch, and up to your natural waist in front. The total measurement is your rise.

    Super comfy!

    Super comfy! I accidentally bought my first pair in “Tall” at the store. I didn’t realize it until I went online to order more. I am 5’3 and I like how the tall falls just below my calf. They fit like a super comfy pair of cotton sweatpants. It’s exactly what I wanted for an upcoming surgery . The first pair I bought at the store were “white” as I wanted them for the beach vacation for when relaxing around the pool or house. They do run big, but I like the oversized fit for coziness.

    Great product! Bring back the CHARCOAL color!

    I have 4 pairs of charcoal gray Sport Knit Elastic Waist Pull On Capri pants. I wear them EVERY day around the house. They have become my uniform, super comfortable & easy to move in, whether I am cleaning house or helping husband grease the tractor. PLEASE bring back the CHARCOAL pull on capri pants AND the CHARCOAL shorts!!!

    Sad that the plus/petite sizes are not offered!!

    Droopy Crotch Area

    I have a few sport knit capris from previous years. They are comfy lounge and run errands. I can usually wear regulars and petite. Regulars for a longer length in legs and petites for shorter length. This year I purchased the navy blue to add to my collection. The crotch area is way too droopy, it is as if these are a “tall.” I haven’t washed them. I keep them and try to shrink them. But I will definitely have to return the white ones when they arrive.

    what is going on with this product

    I bought 2 capri sport knit pants. The material is much thinner than all the other sport knit pants I have purchased. The size was very very big. I tried to shrink them but that did not work. This is the first time I have every been disappointed with this product.

    I have worn these capri shorts for years and have multiple colors. Why are they suddenly so baggy and wide at the bottom? Ugh. Please go back to original style. I order a small.

    Uber comfortable Sport Knit~~~

    I have MANY of these Sport Knit Capris. I am 5.3" & would normally wear a S Petite. However, I find that these shrink in length, so much so that I am now trying a Small Tall, in hopes that when I do dry them, they do not come over the tops of my kneecaps when I sit down. They are very comfortable but do bag out some when you wear them for awhile.~~~

    Runs BIG, order a size smaller. I would only wear these around my house. The pockets bulge out of these pants and it’s an odd material and color…

    Don't like the changes...

    I have been buying these capris and the pants for years. They've changed slightly through the years but my recent purchase this year they don't even seem like the same pants. I could adjust with having to order a different size as these seem to run a lot bigger than before. But what I can't accept is they are now such a thinner, more stretchy material. I had to check the fabric content to make sure they were still 100% cotton as they seem like a cheap Polyester. Not sure I'll buy these or the pants again if they stay this way.

    Baggy Cut

    The Product Details section said, "Very comfortable; bit fuller in the hip and thigh" --but I found that a "bit fuller" in these capris turned out in fact to be quite unattractively baggy. Very odd. I am afraid this item must go back...

    BRING BACK QUALITY COTTON. This item has been my summer staple for years, but this year thin material stretches and sags after just sitting. Looks awful. Sags in knees and rear. Please bring back LE quality. Also, different colors have different size and fit.

    Unwearable

    I purchased 2 of these capris. I am used to Lands End being top quality and was ill-prepared for the horrible fit. Compared to the same style long pants, they are huge. I needed them for a trip, so I ran some heavy elastic through the casing.

    I bought a black pair of capri pants in a size 14/16. They didn’t maintain their shape at all, when I took them off after a lunch date, they were like a size 20. Not happy at all with this Sport Knit!

    Perfect for the Summer!

    These capri pants are soft and comfortable! I LOVE the pockets for my phone, keys, tissue, etc. These are perfect for me, since I don't wear shorts at my age! I have them in black, navy, and white. Today I am getting the light brown.

    Disappointed in this purchase.

    Just bought these last week and wearing them for the first time today. Unfortunately, they will have to be worn for round home. Use only because the cut and material shows every bump and every lump. These Capri run very large-two sizes too large. Side-pockets are unnecessary. Overall, I’m disappointed in my purchase.
