Xtratuf Men's 6 in Ankle Deck Boot, 22736, Black

These boots rub holes on my husband's ankles, no matter what socks or for how long he wears them.

Bought the boots April 17 2025 and by the 25th of May 2025both boot have cracks where the toe bends and are leaking I would not buy again if this is how the product will last

I considered buying these boots for a long time, and finally took the splurge last year. I have really enjoyed wearing the boots - they are very comfortable, look good, and have kept my feet dry. Unfortunately, after a little over a year and not much more than a dozen wears, the shoes are already cracking in multiple places, especially around the toes. Disappointed in the construction materials, and would encourage you to consider something else.

I bought a pair of men’s 6” Ankle Deck Boot about three years ago. I like the ease of slipping them on but they are not really tough. I would say I am a casual user. I use them for nothing aggressive yet they developed two slices where the side and top meet I tried to add a picture but I was not able to.

Very disappointed with the longevity of the boot. I loved them at first but after a couple of years of wear they are unusable. Cracks at every flex point and they are therefore no longer waterproof whatsoever. Very disappointed for what I paid.

Loved the fit of these boots, but didn't even get a year out of them.

I bought my boots almost a yr. ago to date. both have cracks in the rubber where the toes bend. XTRA tuffs are not what they used to be. I really liked them till they started failing. I replaced a pair of the old original tuffs I bought 15+ yrs ago which were still useable when I replaced them.

Overrated Have had 2 pairs both cracked leak less than a year old, third pair pull tab broke less than month in. All 3 same size and they all fit different Rocky boot brands has really fallen off

My 3rd pair I wear them everywhere , South Shore Long Island Boater. Comfortable watertight when new, however, After a few months they crack where your feet bend and let the water in. This happened 3 times so moving on to another brand.

Garbage. Had them maybe 3 months and they have split in several spots and the sole is worn through. Have worn the brand for years and the legacy boots have never been this bad. Won't buy these deck boots again.

I bought these maybe 6 months ago. Although not directly from the website I bought them from an authorized seller. I have been a huge fan of xtra tough products but these have ripped pretty badly at the top ankle portion. I emailed xtra tough support and have not heard anything. And they make it impossible to contact them any other way. Really bummed cause you just lost a customer for life. Also, tried to upload imagine of the boot and it won’t let me.

This is also good making brand Good look good look wear comfortable It is to walk

Got these as a present about 10 mo ago as my job regularly exposes me to blood and other fluids. Waterproofing: They are fully waterproof as far as I can tell which is most important to me. I say as far as I can tell because my feet will get so sweaty in them my socks will be damp or frankly wet while I’m at work. To me it’s a relatively small price to pay and makes cleaning very easy. Comfort: pretty comfortable even for wider feet. I can be on my feet all day without foot pain. They don’t have any arch support though so I’d be wary if that’s something you’re looking for. I love that I can slip these on and off super quick and easy. Grip: good grip for wet indoor surfaces. Have not tested on a deck. Durability: not great. Less than a year of not everyday use and the siding of the boot is separating from the rest of the boot. Also the outer shell is already cracked down to the neoprene rendering them no longer waterproof. Bottom line: it’s an ok, functional boot but would probably explore other brands if you’re looking something longer lasting.

These boots use to be great, but you can definitely tell they are no longer made in the United States like they use to be! still a very good boot for what has a chance of being a short time they may stay together.

Quality has gone down the drain on these. They develop cracks near the toe as many others have shown, and they are very slippery on even slightly wet hard surfaces. Real shame, but I won't be buying any more.

Great shoes and keep your feet warm in the winter.

I've had these for two years, wearing them primarily in the rain in the winter months in Vancouver, Canada. Both boots are cracking and no longer waterproof on the top inner portion of the boot. If you look at the pics you will see from the condition of the sole, which is still in decent functional condition, that the boots have had moderate use. I expected more based on the reputation of this company and their boots. Otherwise they have been great boots - comfortable once I added an additional insole (for my low volume feet), grippy, waterproof, easy on/off, and reflective.

These boots used to be the best! I wear them probably 3 days a week and so have been through many pairs over the years. The last 2 pairs just dont hold up like the ones they used to make did. Sad because I thought that xtratuf would make better product now that they are owned by rocky but it turns out that honeywell was actually the better ownership. sad.

I purchased two pairs of XtraTuf's boots (one pair for myself and one for my friend). Coincidentally, we are both size 9.5. Given that Xtratuf boots only come in full sizes, we heavily debated between size 10 and size 9. After extensive research, we wqent with a size 9 (on a whym).
