Lands' End Women's Plaid Box Pleat Skirt Top of the Knee - 14 - White Plaid

These skirts run smaller than Lands End uniforms from prior years. My slightly above average 8yo is in a size 12 to give her room to grow. The size 10 barely fit.

The quality of this skirt and the material are great. However, the size charts are incorrect. Based on the size chart measurements, my daughter would wear a size 8. Because I knew from past experience that the size chart measurements were off for this item, I ordered a size 4. Even still, the skirt is too large in the waist by an inch. This has been an ongoing problem for a year or more. Please correct this, Lands End! Also, the skirt is described as "Top of the Knee." My daughter is above average in height at 5'7" and the skirt hits the top of her knee. Anyone with a shorter height will likely find that the skirt is at the knee or even below the knee and will need alterations.

I was excited to try this skirt as an affordable but quality option for the plaid skirt trend. It's short but not too short with large box pleats that held their shape during a wash. But the way the zipper is installed, there is an unattractive and cheap-looking bend/bulge so that side of the skirt doesn't hang correctly. I hoped washing would settle it out, but it is still there. Returning.

Had to send them back! Never heard if they were received! The sizing was wayyyy off. Had to reorder a size girls 16

Nice skirts but are very large around the waist even with the adjustable elastic. Slim sizes, like the school skorts, should be offered.

Runs small and too short

This skirt runs 1 size large. I ordered a size down and it’s perfect. Other than that, I have to say for the price, it’s a nice skirt. Super cute for a casual night out or even to wear to work. The fabric is vibrant and seems very durable - it is a medium to heavy weight twill. I guess the majority of bad reviews are of women purchasing this skirt for a child? This is a women’s sized skirt, not a child’s. Anyway, the fit is very flattering and who doesn’t love a good plaid skirt in the fall? Just buy it!

Size chart is completely wrong on this. I measured my daughter and she should have had an 8. Because of reviews I got a 4. That is still at least half an inch too big. The skirt is cute and the fabric is good but the size chart needs to be fixed!

The skirt is very oddly constructed. The garment sweep is huge. After trying on, my daughter could gold over more thank two inches of fabric on each side of the skirt.

I just ordered the third size of these skirts for my daughter. according to size chart she should wear a 4 but they were too big. Ordered the 2 and they were too big. Hoping the 0 fits! Very frustrating, especially having to pay shipping back to Land’s end!

The sizes run way too big. My daughter normally wears a 4 and even the 0 was too big. The length is misleading, also. The description says above knee, but it was not above my 5'5" tall daughter's knees

This purchase was perfect in every way - the skirt, the fabric, the label, the school insignia, the price, and above all, the customer service
