Lands' End School Uniform Kids Short Sleeve Feminine Fit Interlock Polo Shirt

My daughter is in 3rd grade and we have used Lands End for her uniforms since kindergarten. The ones we got for this school year are noticeably thinner and just overall poorer quality. I had gotten her a few from a another retailer that were much cheaper and after this order I will continue to go to the other retailer. I don't know what happened to Lands End but they still charge the same for a much less quality item.

Got new school uniforms and they will have to be exchanged because even though we have purchased this exact same item before, it fits nothing like the previous orders. These shirts were incredibly long and baggy on my teen.

I purchased this top back in May and again in August. The quality has declined significantly between my two purchases. The new version is thinner and the collar is flimsy. What a disappointment and shame on Lands End for cutting corners for those of us who are forced to buy their product for school uniforms.

My daughter needed polos for school uniform. She likes a soft fit like a tee shirt, but most of the jersey materials on polos aren't sturdy and end up with holes. These hold up so we keep buying them. The fit is good too, it's feminine without being too snug.

We have purchased the same shirt and it seems to be inconsistent in terms of how it fits. My daughter ordered the youth XL and some of the shirts are longer and wider than others even though it is the same size, cut, color, etc.

These shirts are not good. They have shrunk so much (even compared to the mesh shirts), and the color has faded. Wish my school would pick a different type of polo shirt for the uniform.

I bought a few replacement uniform shirts for my daughter expecting the same quality as the shirts I previously purchased from Lands End. The new shirts have a soft cotton feel, however over time they shrink big time! This even is with them not going in the dryer. Also the collar remains permanently creased after washing. Super disappointed in the quality of these shirts. Moving forward I am going to look elsewhere for my daughters uniform polos. If you choose to buy, size up 1-2 sizes if you want these to fit for more than a few wears!

This shirt constantly fades and shrinks, without even putting it in the dryer! It’s obnoxious that I have to keep purchasing them since it’s the school uniform.

I bought this shirt and washed it and it tore on the arm.. Poor quality for a lot of money.

I bought this a month ago after an actual fitting in the school. We ordered the size according to what fits her and not only came and it was a bit small, but when took out of the dryer it shrunk so much that this will fit literally a kindergartener. She is in 7th. With the first big order that we received we got the PE shirts and those were soooooo tiny that I requested a refund. I then had to returned it. My husband got into the hospital and the deadline for the return expired.... so now I am stuck with two PE shirts that fits a doll and had to order two more at regular price....

I bought this for my daughter's school uniform, she wore it one time and I washed and dried it following the wash guidelines on the tag and it shrunk so significantly that it no longer fits her. What a waste of money for her to wear it once!!

Had to buy these for school uniforms again this year. When the new came in, I compared with last year’s (same shirt)— it had shrunk 4 inches! I thought my child outgrew it quickly, but she didn’t. The material actually shrunk that dramatically. I expect more from Land’s End.

Fits true to size. My child is 52 pounds, 49 inches tall and this product was right on.

THIS is not exoeptiple at all. This kind of money plus the logo and they shrink and look used by one month of using? I dislike our school has to order through Lands End. The quality is not what it use to be. Also the expensive price for subpar products, nope.

I bought a few of these around August 2023. Medium (8) size, some in red and others in navy. The quality of the fabric was sturdy, but unfortunately the length have shrunk down to match size small (6/7). I will be skipping this shirt in my next order.

We have been ordering these uniform mesh polo shirts every year since 2009. I have a mix of shirts from 8+ years ago, 5 years ago , 3 years ago, and some I purchased this past summer. If you hang these shirts up near a light source you can see the steady decline in quality. The thickness has decreased markedly going from completely opaque (you can’t see through the shirt at all) to steadily decreasing every few years until you reach today’s shirt that you can see through as if it were cheese cloth. Other than this drastic change in shirt thickness, the finer details started disappearing along the way: first, the higher quality plackets disappeared, the width of the collar decreased, all the seams became narrower, the hems narrower. Now, I am sewing holes. The quality of the new shirts is so bad that the shoulder seams don’t lay flat (because the seams are so narrow), and the fabric is now so thin that holes have started to appear after only a few months of wear. And Lands End is charging MORE for these shirts! I refuse to buy any more, and parents have asked the school for a change in uniform vendor. As for the old shirts, they are still going strong! NO holes. And, oddly, the new white shirts are fine. If you must buy, only buy white if possible, the quality is SO much better.
