Quality down hill
Why has the size of this bookcase gone down so drastically??? See pic- light is a maybe 5 year old, basic book case from target that unfortunately has water damage. The darker is new, and was purchased as a replacement. I don't even want to bother putting it together now, as it obviously won't hold everything the old one did, but it's unboxed now so probably more trouble to return. Ughh. Don't waste your money on this!

Safety Hazard
Extremely upset with this product, the screw caps don't stay on, the safety anchor is a joke it does nothing to keep the bookcase from tilting. Tilting is the major issue, I made sure my floor was level and checked the bookcase twice to make sure it was properly put together. This bookshelf is a massive safety hazard due to it's tilt, I am extremely disappointed by this product. Not worth the price even on sale! Save yourself the money don't buy this one. Spend it on a better quality bookcase elsewhere.

If I paid full price for this, I’d be even angrier. Poor quality, looks cheap, and the black caps to cover the screw heads don’t stay on. I wouldn’t even use this in a dorm room it’s that poorly made. Not worth the money for sure.

Overpriced, even when discounted 70%.
Quality is bad, very bad. Don’t let anything beyond soft cloth touch the shelf or it will scratch. I ordered two, and neither had included the proper hardware to secure to wall. Screws to secure the back panels are too long and will go through the side if not careful. Im not a newby to assembling furniture, and I’ve never seen the amount of scuffs, chips, improper hardware, etc in a product. 2 stars as it seems physically sturdy and will serve it’s purpose, but the significantly discounted price is still triple what it is worth in quality.

Cheap materials and flimsy shelf. We use it as a bookshelf but you have to be careful because it's so light, it might tip over. Way too expensive for what you get.
