    Solid boot

    Excellent boot for fish hatchery work. They are comfortable and take a large wool sock in the winter.

    Good boot if you can get them on. I have the Legacy model, 12 inch height. The ankle area is very narrow making it difficult to slip your foot in, even when folding the calf shaft down as low as it will go. I have to wear insoles for an arch lift and cushion, this further narrows the canal for my foot to slip. It would be great if XtraTuf would mount loops on each side of the ankle area (inside, low) to assist in pulling on the boot, would be great. I suppose I can wear the boot if a soak my foot in oil to aid slipping it in, but that’s not a good idea.

    Not made in USA

    These are too narrow and fell apart within 1 year. I have had several pairs in the past and fit perfect and lasted several fishing seasons, now, not so much. I have always worn a size 12 and due to being much narrower, I have to wear a 13 and they are just way too long.

    These only last a few months

    I am a deckhand on the west coast and I go through a pair in 2 months with that said they are the best boots on the market but they keep on getting cheaper

    USED to be an amazing boot...used to

    Been buying these boots for years, and in that time I have seen the transition from a super comfortable, dry, slip-resistant boot to a flimsy, sometimes too tight, sometimes very clunky boot. Quality is gone. I have tested so many boots that work in a brewery/winery setting, Danner, Keen, Columbia, Sorel, among many others, and Xtratuf boots were hands-down the best. What changed?????????????

    Great Working Boot

    Walked the soles off these boots. Wore every day for 7 months and always had dry comfy feet. Didn’t crack and good traction on production floors. Only down side is that they only lasted 7 months and that’s not bad!

    I've done all the research, get these.

    Excellent product. Well built. Sturdy. I use them mainly for farm work in muddy conditions. I take a size 9 shoe. The size 10 boots were a perfect fit after installing a thin shoe insert. I had tried a size 9, although they fit my foot perfectly they were too difficult to take off. Boots fit differently than shoes, size up.

    Too tight in calf and awkward height

    The height of these boots is awkward and the shaft is too narrow. They hit my calf in a weird spot and were uncomfortable.

    FIt, Selection

    I ordered these to replace a pair I have had for ~10 years. They were size 13 and a little too tight, so I ended up ordering the 15" Legacy Boot in size 14. They fit fine, but I prefer the 12" high boot, a model not available in 14.
