Review Quotes
"One of the questions people ask themselves when they go gluten-free (and/or dairy-free) is 'what the heck am I going to eat?' In this book, Kayla definitely answers that question and proves that you can prepare delicious food without including these allergens." --@PhilHatesGluten "Kayla's recipes never fail to impress and make my mouth water. Full of allergy-free recipes that highlight her love of food and passion for helping others, Kayla's book will add immeasurable value and deliciousness to your life and plate. With her focus on nourishing and tasty recipes that those with even the strictest food intolerances and allergies can enjoy, there is truly something for everyone. Kayla has taken all of the guess work out of navigating the big question that many people with food intolerances and allergies often ask themselves, which is 'will I ever be able to eat the foods I enjoy again?' Kayla shows you that the answer is a big, resounding YES!" --Nicole Keshishian Modic, founder of @kalejunkie and author of Love to Eat "Kayla creates a diverse menu of easy, delicious, and satisfying recipes for those with dietary restrictions to choose from. Her own experience and empathy for her readers shines through in every page, while also introducing them to new ingredients and holding their hand through the process." --Vasudha Viswanath, author of The Vegetarian Reset and founder of We Ate Well
About the Author
Kayla Cappiello has three dietary restrictions. Diagnosed with celiac disease, a lactose intolerance, and a nut allergy, she found a creative outlet in navigating her way through every day recipes and adjusting them to fit her dietary needs. She learned to use this process not only as a way to find inner peace and to accept her body's restrictions, but also as a way to connect with others over what our bodies need most--food. Navigating food can be hard. Kayla likes to keep her recipes fun, bright, and approachable--just like her! She is laid back, enjoys reading a good book, and also appreciates a good cocktail and cooking. She lives just outside New York City with her fiance and their dog, Beans.
