It doesnt taste bad... although I mixed it with another drink. Still evaluating.

For the price get it. Glutamine is crucial to having a lifestyle that consists of gym time and house work time etc. etc. if your over 50. If your not a gym rat and putting in road miles (jogging) you can do with out creatine but not glutamine.

i've been taking Glutamine for many years as a post-workout recovery supplement and for digestive (GI) health.

I have a friend who has cancer. When she started her chemotherapy one of the suggestions was to add L-Glutamine powder to her diet three times a day to help counter neuropathy. I have neuropathy but haven’t had chemo or do I have any other deficiency that might cause the neuropathy. I added the L-Glutamine powder two times a day - morning and night and notice a remarkable change in my legs - not nearly so much burning!

Easy to stir into water; not much taste; thrifty cost compared to some others; powder is more economical compared with capsules--but I use both. Several functional medicine docs suggest using this; I think it's working; patience is important-sometimes healing takes some time.

Been taking this product for a few years. The reason: to heal and protect my colon lining from leaky gut. It is helping, as I was tested and no longer have leaky gut. Keep in mind, I also take many other supplements, and had to make some minor changes to my diet. I continue to take to keep my colon lining as it should be. I can only testify to what this has done for me, and with proof from a health care practitioner. There are other reasons people take this product, but for me, it is doing what I need it to do.

I have used this product for many years and take a scoop with water everyday, usually at night. It keeps my body alkaline and not acidic. It curbs my appetite for sweets, great for after I eat bad stuff like greasy foods, etc. I have found this the best place for price and order it quite often.

I have used L-Glutamine in tablets and capsules just about forever. Since Amino Acids became readily available in powder form in the 1980's, I have also used L-Glutamine Powder. It is easy to use, because it has virtually no taste, and it mixes easily into any liquid. Even though L-Glutamine is available today in 1,000 mg. capsules and even 1,500 mg. tablets, since I like to take at least 6 to 10,000 mg. each morning, it is much more convenient for me to stir a heaping scoop / tsp of L-Glutamine Powder into my morning healthy green drink. I don't even know it's there, but it gives me a tremendous helping of nourishment that I value for my brain. Funny how things evolve. Today, most people seem to be taking L-Glutamine for their skeletal muscles; however, when I began using L-Glutamine, it was as brain food / nourishment. The articles and books way back in the day were about L-Glutamine for the brain. Today, there is reading material everywhere about L-Glutamine being of value throughout the body. Personally, along with several other renowned brain nutrients that I take daily, I realize excellent, noticeable positive effects from my L-Glutamine Powder. I have used a couple of other brands of L-Glutamine Powder that I have purchased from Swanson Health Products. While the actual powders have differed a little in texture/consistency, I haven't noticed any difference in taste, miscibility, or positive results. I like the NOW Brand, and I am fully satisfied using this product, which Swanson sells at a very good price. Works for me.

I am happy with the powdered L-Glutamine: it's easy to scoop, the taste is not noticeable with juice (I drink it in water) and the price/volume is great for heavy users. I wish the scoop was affixed outside ))) it's difficult to find it in the jar.

This product does not disolve well at all. I had to keep adding water and swirling the glass to get the remaining undesolved power in the glass down. I switched to Swanson's brand and it does exactly as it should. Even though there is a slightly smaller quantity with Swanson's (although the price is lower, too), I find that Swanson's is still the better deal for me. I should have known because I have always been pleased with Swanson's.

This product is easy to mix and tasteless! Also, the dosage is lower than most other brands I've tried so it is cost effective.

I want to know what volume of 3 grams doses are in this container. Yes I can figure it out but other products are much more friendly labeled as far as this info. is concerned. My calculations are 448 grams in this product or 150 doses. Thanks!
