Middle pieces did not fit together well

I enjoyed the puzzle but the middle of the puzzle did not fit together nicely. You had to kinda force the puzzle pieces together in the middle vertically. The puzzle came in 2 bags and it seemed like they were also cut separately as 2 bags since the mid point did not connect well. In the picture you’ll see the corners don’t align and some pieces were ill-fitting in general with gaps.
